MyFood the Sustainable Sourcing Platform

Montgomery Events are delighted to introduce a brand new show concept to co locate with its established brand The International Café and Beverage Shows (ICBS).

MyFood will offer something unique in the events market place in championing local food and beverage production and offer the wonderful array of Malaysian products their own dedicated platform to shine.

As the Government seeks to address some food security issues MyFood hopes to play a small part in helping and empowering local production to take on a bigger role in the countrys food supply chain helping to promote healthy eating and reducing the carbon footprint of food distribution.

Addressing Food Security and Championing domestic suppliers 

The COVID pandemic brought into stark focus for many countries the need for more food security and domestic supply to help offset volatility in global commodities. The Malaysian Government has outlined in its NAP 2.0 plan the priority to address this concern with key policy objectives including Drive Income Growth and Better Quality of Life for Food Producers Raise Production Levels with Quality Harvests to increase productivity Improve Nutritional Well being of the population Embrace greater economic, social and spatial inclusiveness Encourage greater adoption of sustainable consumption and production.

My Food will offer a commercial platform to help to achieve some of these objectives by creating a marketing platfrom for local suppliers to network and do business with food and beverage outlets all eager to raise their levels of sustainable local food sourcing.
